The lens is sharpest between f/5.6 - f/8. My resolution tests verified this for all the lenses.

I hope you are enjoying the lens set and X7. My lens choice varies quite a bit with shot design. But from a actual use perspective I use the 24mm the most and the 50mm second most. The 50mm is my favorite of the lot...love the look

How many I2 battery charges do you get with that on a full charge? 6?

During the day time I have a hard time seeing the bird further than 2500'... so that's my limit. But for night shoots when I have 3-mile strobes flashing. Its pretty easy to see it far away on the clear night.

I fly with the Patch exclusively and have never had any range issues. A few months ago I was flying (still within VLOS) 8700' distance and thats as far as I could push it. Further than that and the video started to break up.

If you want to use the in-camera noise reduction, use the h.264 100mbs option. However, if you want to bypass DJI's in-camera and use far-superior noise reduction software in post processing like Neat Video, then use ProRes or CinemaDNG which much better overall results.

Next time i highly recommend you don't go with the lowest price, and instead order from Advexture or Florida Drone Supply. They are both great to work with and focus on customer satisfactions.

This is great news. I'll reserve judgment on the ProRes RAW & 12bit upgrade until I get a chance to test it. But moving to exFAT out of the gate, is a wonderful improvement in post-processing and file management.

In all of these posts remember the downlink HD camera signal at the RC is highly compressed and will not be equal to what is recorded to to the MicroSD or CineSSD card

Not having HDMI or SDI playback is indeed a problem when on a set. I thought I read that the latest DJI Go 4 update fixed a SDI/HDMI problem. Not sure if its this problem though as I have not tested it yet. A failsafe approach to what you need would be to use an external video recorder like...
