Well that certainly puts it in some perspective.

In-Depth DJI Mavic Air Camera side by side comparison Shootout! VS Phantom 4 Pro, Mavic Pro, Spark

Yeah, if you're looking to upgrade your video quality you won't do better than getting the X5R camera for your I1 (unless you go for the I2). I have it and love it.

Time Elapsed 360 Project Advice - Fire Damage

Great idea! I would use Autopilot to create and save the flight plan you want to fly, whether it's a simple orbit or a waypoint mission or whatever. Then you just load up the same flight plan every time, engage and sit back and watch it fly. If Litchi allows for saving flight plans then you...

    Missed Opportunity

Regarding the weekly "Last Week's Most Popular Topics" email, why not call it "Last Week's Most Inspired Topics" instead? I think about this every time I see it lol ;):D

Phantom 3 fell from the sky and crushed the roof of a moving car

There should be serial numbers on multiple different parts. Find one and contact DJI. If they sold it, they can tell you to whom.

WARNING IOS 11.2.5 Do Not Update.

This probably explains the issues I've been having recently. GO has had a few problems but Autopilot and Litchi flat do not work anymore. I reached out to DJI support about it but they said they don't recommend using 3rd party apps and wouldn't help me.

You could put that X5 on the Osmo handle and make it hand-held.

    Two issues with Autopilot

Old thread, I know, but wanted to add that the "bucking bronco" behavior is still a problem in 2018.

    Looking for clarification on Airspace,

Naturally the NPS does not have authority to control airspace. I don't think anyone has suggested anything so silly. But the FAA does have the authority to control airspace and the question as I understood it involved determining exactly what the FAA has done to control airspace over national...

    Looking for clarification on Airspace,

There's also this: https://www.gpo.gov/fdsys/pkg/USCODE-2010-title49/pdf/USCODE-2010-title49-subtitleVII-partA-subparti-chap401-sec40128.pdf But it appears to apply only to commercial air tour operations. The AC you linked is probably what I was thinking of though. For drones, given the NPS...

    2017 Best Drone Compilation

Well made! You must live in TN or at least spend a lot of time here. I recognized a lot of the locations.

    Looking for clarification on Airspace,

My understanding was that the FAA restricts commercial flights over national parks, wildernesses and tribal lands below at least 2000' AGL but possibly as high as 5000'. Even at 2000' that's well above the max height for drone operations without a waiver. I am not a licensed pilot and an only...
