Yeah, totally agree and have always been apprehensive updating firmware on DJI products. My shoot isn't for a week and I haven't flown my i2 for a while so I thought might be a good idea to get caught up. Not sure why I thought that instead of just test flying it without updating.

I'm prepping my i2 for a job and got the message on the app to update the firmware. I went ahead and did that and it's been stuck at 47% for way too long. Terrified of trying to reset it and bricking it instead. Any advice?

In my opinion, M2P no question. I have the M2P and used to own the i1. The M2P image quality is way better. Let that be your guide. Put them up side by side, take some pics (especially in low light!), and then decide.

I was contacted by someone who lost their Mavic 2 on a rocky bluff that is unreachable by foot. They can see it but just can't get to it so they asked if I can fly my i2 with some sort of retrieval system. Anyone have any ideas how to go about this? Long rope with some sort of hook on the end?

Just a bit confused by "charges one battery at the same rate as the DJI charging hub". Do you mean it charges 3 batteries in the same amount of time it takes to charge 2 batts on the DJI hub? Do you actually do 3 batts at a time? I ask because I've always charged in pairs and never knew if that...
