Possible to change setting for R finger wheel on Operator radio?

The R finger wheel on my Operator radio allows changing camera settings. It's always been that way and I've never had a need to change it but a friend of mine is operating for someone else and says that pilot's Operator radio doesn't do anything. Looked through all the settings but can't find anything regarding settings for this.

Possible to change it or is it locked to changing camera settings by default? And if so, any ideas why this other guy's radio doesn't do anything? Radio seems to function fine otherwise.
