DJI Unlock does work with CrystalSky on the Go app. Used it more than a few times.

I use the CrystalSky 7.85" originally with the Inspire 2 v2 and now Phantom 4 Pro v2. Very nice on sunny days. I never use a hood.

Cool idea. What about using a smart phone for the pictures. The meta data will have the coords. I use my iPhone for inserting stills in some of my videos with good results.

Is the issue mostly with the 2000 nit version, or are the 1000 nits affected as well.
