I got my I2 back in the air and all updated with latest FW. But Atti mode is not working. Can anyone tell me if that is something that has been removed? Thanks for any help on this. i am using the standard controller.

I am using the Cendence controller and ATTI mode is working for me. I wouldn’t expect the standard controller to be any different.

In what way isn’t it working?

When I flip the switch from P to A it remains in GPS mode. Never seen this happen. I have a Cendence controller for my M210 so I may just pair it up with the I2 and see how it does. If the same thing happened then I would know there was something o the bird side. The M210 works fine. If I find the problem I will post back.

Just worth noting...

The different flight modes ARE controlled in the firmware. I was able to hack my Mavic Pro's "Sport Mode" to be ATTI mode. I use my MP as a tool, not a toy. So I need ATTI mode to gauge wind speeds at different altitudes, hence the hack.

Yeah, did not understand (well kind of sorta did) why they would not allow the MP to have atti in stock. I sold mine but I had done the same thing. But on the I2, there should be no hacks. I am going to play with it more today. I believe it is related to my RC controller and settings.

Did you check the 'Multiple Flight Modes' setting? Typically after firmware updates it gets switched off and you need to restitch to 'On'.
S White, you get the MVP award today :) That was it. thank you very much!! I don't guess I was aware that it got reset after FW updates. If so it just slipped my mind so thanks.

Glad that was it. I had the same frustrations at one time, but figured it must be a setting and was lucky that was all it was. I use the Cendence as well and have never had any mysterious issues to deal with. A totally solid setup.

I had a Cendence but sold it because I mainly do mainly photography. However, I sure wish I had not done that :(. Kind of like going from a new Lexus to a used clunker. But with that said, I have a Cendence with my recent purchase of the M210. Do you know if folks ever swap back and forth between birds? Just wondering if there are any issues other than "paring controller" each time?

At first I was not sure if the Cendence was needed. But after using it, and programming most of the switches, I am really spoiled. All my work is aerial filming (and some photos). I love the quick adjustments and custom setup. I still have my original radio and have wanted to set it up as a 2nd one to run the camera (or bird), but never did. I cannot imagine any issues to swap it out, other than the hassle of re-binding each time. I am always very careful to not mess with things once they work. I still have some issues with moving my Crystalsky between my I1 and I2 radios (Go v. GO4). As a footnote I have my Crystalsky setup to use on the I2, I1 and Mavic. That is also a great unit for what I do.
