deepest descent from take off point

hey guys
curious about the downward range of the inspire 2 from take off point.

i was asked to video a drop of 300 feet from a takeoff point. does any body have experience with this "depth"?

the reason i ask is that i was told the drone sends is signal mostly downwards.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Managed about 100ft down and both close in and out to about 500m before, no problem. Don't think you'd have much problem so long as you can orient the rc antenna towards the aircraft without them getting blocked. The aircraft antenna are in the landing gear legs under the leds, so again, as long as they can 'see' the rc you should be ok.

quick update. i managed to go down below to about 450 feet from launch point and about 2 miles. this was in a great valley in colorado. so fun!
