Downtown Miami / Key biscayne

Too bad the Glades are off limits.

Yeah, but it is a national park so...

You know what might be pretty cool ... going out on the keys and flying along the road/bridge between some of the keys. Particularly along the abandoned portion.

Soooo there's this thing called "meetup.com" I'm not a huge fan of this type of crap but it occurs to me there's a handful of us inspire nerds here in SoFlo and maybe we can meet, fly, discuss etc. just another of my hare brained ideas!

I1 dual remote, Zenmuse X5, dual wifi iPads, hotspot, FCPX, Logic Pro X, MacBook Pro, little to no common cents (sic).

Sorry, I forgot to mention that your photo is Very nice. I would like to fly that area. Did you fly from a private residence or some sort of park?

Exactly that small island is at the inlet to marine stadium which they're now renovating...

Yep no flying today 35+ mph winds , but calming down early in the week...

We just flew down there last week for AMC, and the Florida Film Office has some pretty steep restrictions on 7mi Bridge and Rickenbacker. We had only a small permit window and police escorts. Be careful, especially around the start of 7mi. You're within 5nm of KMTH at that point. And the mainland side of Key Biscayne is Bravo airspace for KMIA. Otherwise it's a beautiful place to film!
