I Love the fact that you find it incredulous that UAS operators should be able to read a METAR To hold a commercial operators PFAW (Permissions for Aerial Work) GUESS WHAT! You have to be able to read METARS!!!!

DUMB it DOWN and only DUMB will pass!!!

Honestly, between the FAA's study guide and another Part 107 guide I found for $10, plus a "How to Read Sectional Maps" I found for free, I believe I will be completely prepared to take my test next Wednesday. Certainly not against anyone trying to make a buck, but for the guy trying to scrape together $150 for the test, it is not necessary to spend $100 more for study material.

There is no reason to pay $99 or even $10 for study material that is all available from the FAA for FREE.
