Fallow me mode

if you want to use the fallow me feature, do you need a cell phone or you can use a tablet non cell, the I1 will falolw the remote itself via lightbridge or he device aka cell phone like the phantom 2?

I ran into the same issue last night. A quick search on here and I found my answer. I was using Wifi Ipad Mini2 Retinas. They only have wifi assisted GPS. No wifi, no GPS. I poked around a bit more and found the Garmin Glo, which after it's latest update connects multiple devices (In my case 2 Ipad Mini's) and gives them GPS and GLONASS. Battery operated with a user replaceable battery and a battery life of approximately 12 hours.
 
will try to set my iphone as a hotspot for the ipad , i know i can get internet that way, see if it fallows my ipad ,till next week do windy and raining in T tomorrow 2+mph wind
