FYI Dronebase

Hey guys just thought you might like to know how DroneBase figures mileage. Perhaps you have received an alert that a property has come up for photographs and or video, and it appears right in your mileage wheelhouse, ah not so much. DroneBase figures mileage as the crow flies, not by highway miles, that’s why their mileage never matches what you figure you will have to drive. Had me a bit confused as their miles and mine never matched. FYI.

Yes, I was saying DroneBase uses a straight line to assess distance from your home to a potential mission location. I use highway miles. It took me a while to catch on as to what they were doing.
