I2 - dual remote - slave connecting but no gimbal control - SOLVED

SOLVED So this worked before...two remotes for I2. Everything looks setup correctly, slave is connected, grab the gimbal, but no control! Anyone else experiencing this?

Found the problem...old firmware on the slave...funny it never warns you, then when you go to the about page it shows update available for aircraft but nothing for rc; did the update for the ac and now it works.
