If you don't have the licenses for ProRes/CinemaDNG then you can only use the cinessd for raw-burst photos ... you have to chose photo burst mode and select a frame rate of 14 or more frames per second.

Unfortunately you cannot record h264/265 video or non-burst photos to it. :(
But I want the cinessd to film in full hd and photo no more, I dont need to 5.2 k film, but I ask if I can install the cinessd without the license key to film in full hd format, no need prores or cinemadng, if is posible, can you said me how ? thank you

Unfortunately, because of the way the Inspire 2's image processing system is designed, it is not possible to record 'full hd' H264/265 video to the CineSSD, nor is it possible to store normal jpeg's or RAW images to it. You can only store ProRes/CinemaDNG and RawBurst DNG images to it.

Ok thank

Ok but, in no manual say that I need the license key to use the cinessd, and that I cant use it to film full hd, this is what I find frustrating, because I only want a more reliable and faster device to read and write than the microSD memory, and nowhere say that I need a license key to use it. Thank you NickU

If you use good quality microSD cards then you should not have problems recording h264/265 to them. I've not experienced any problems using the Sandisk extreme pro 64gb cards, I'm sure they're at least the 90Mbps (write speed) versions.

You may have problems with slower cards... some lexar cards I have are too slow for the x5s/I2, instead I use them on the Phantom 4 and Osmo/X5.

It is in the manual, perhaps not as clearly as you would like, but it is there:

Video Formats
SSD: CinemaDNG, ProRes
Micro SD: MOV, MP4
