Interesting section of Pilot Web

Came across this while conducting a preflight briefing on Pilot Web:

There's a place that UAS pilots can create a flight plan for their proposed flight. This is not the same as requesting a NOTAM. Rather, it is more like a manned aircraft pilot filing a VFR flight plan. Here's the direct link:

IMHO, this is a step closer to increasing flight safety while legitimizing the use of UAS within the NAS.

Now, if we can just keep little Billy-Bob from flying the drone his daddy bought him from Best Buy within wildland fire TFR's and risking the safety of everyone concerned....

My NOTAM that I have for tomorrow shows up on the UAS operating map. I like the fact that it remembers your info in case you fly the same place multiple times as does the Notam system.
