Micro SD vs CineSSD

H.264 & 5 are the SD specs which are good but not great!

Unless you have the license for either (or both of) ProRes or CinemaDNG, then basically there is no benefit to having/using the CineSSD. Without the license the only thing you can record to the ssd is a burst of raw still frames.

If you have the licenses then you can record video using a higher quality, less compressed, codec. That basically gives you more headroom for mangling your footage in post
