Looking at Olympus and Panasonic 25mm and I only see plastic body of the lens.
Need a lens that is very close to the 50mm focal view (compared to 35mm film) since I need to be close to water towers, power lines and towers, communication towers, etc and a w/angle lens means I need to be very close to the subject which is dangerous for the drone...work related this one...pleasure is the P3P one.
Does your lens and the DJI original have metal body? Not the mount, the body of the lens.

I now have 4 lenses for my X5 12mm 17mm 25mm 45mm and i gotta say the 12mm is my fav for the inspire but on my Osmo i love the 25mm its almost equivalent as having a 50mm on a full frame Canon. not complaints about the sharpness they all look good for the price you pay. "Cheap lenses"

Great lens and I use it to get those tight shots when filming surfing. Love it.

Yes it is i use a Hoya uv (clear) for nightime and Heliopan variable ND filter daytime but i def need a polarizer.

I have the ND and UV for all mine lenses but thinking about getting a polarizer. Very fun!

Yea! i just love the blue sky you get with a polarizer the clouds pop.

The X5 camera is not made of plastic but cant find any info i would imagine magnesium alloy like most dslr's.
