Back on topic, I got these done at Vistaprint on corrugated plastic , £7 each, made some sturdy frames from some angle iron .

Here's an example of my final on-site signage.

I bought a few blank A-Boad signs and applied my own choice of warning with self adhesive, all weather vinyl.
