PAP insurance for my drone

Hello All,
Happy New Year!

I have searched the forums but didn’t really find my answer.
First of all I live in the United States.
I recently purchases a used I2 and am presently just using it for personal use. I reached out to State Farm for a Personal Articles Policy for the I2 and my P4P.
I am getting a quote for $2 per hundred on the value of the drones.

My issue is they are asking for a receipt on the drones. I have one for the P4P but not the Inspire. I have reached out to the gentleman I purchased it from but have not heard back from him yet.
Has anyone else ran into this? I’m open to suggestions. The State Farm office is 2 miles from my home. I have offered to bring them by for inspection but I think they still want the receipts.

Well with no response to my thread I took actions into my own hands and went down to my State Farm agency to talk to them in person. After explaining my situation about not having the receipt I was told to look up the replacement value and bring that in along with the drone for them to take pictures of it. Within two hours I was back at their office with the drones and all the information they requested and 30 minutes after that I have insurance on my Inspire 2 and 4 pro. Sometimes talking to someone in person will get a more positive response and with speaking to someone on the phone!

State Farm all they wanted was ser #s and pics . if it need replaced the go by replacement value .

Okay for another update. I just heard from my State Farm agent and she is telling me that the underwriter is requiring a receipt! This was the reason I had to take it up to their office for inspection and pictures! I thought it was all taken care of. Has anybody else ran into this? Also does anybody have a receipt for a Inspire 2 with a x4s that they could send me a copy of? Of course block out any personal information. I just need to have this by Febuary 16th. Thanks in advance.

I need a receipt with a serial number for ANY camera broke or not for insurance claim

Not if urs was in the Mississippi River
Had an earlier problem and nicked a tree limb
Didn’t no it broke gimbal
Fell off in river
Now they want a number to see cost of new camera

I haven’t found a serial number on any of my DJI cameras
So I don’t no what else to do

Do u no the part number for an X3 camera for Inspire 1

I don't have a receipt nor did I need one for me I2. I got insurance through Droneinusurance.com A decent price for the I2 against liability and personal damages (like stolen, lost etc).

I'm sending my I2 to the Netherlands to have it outfitted to power and harness a Thermal lens. My agent said underwriters would probably have issues with that so I started calling around. I seem to be stuck in the spin cycle with current insurance because they've never dealt with this before.?

I'm looking at AIG, UAIG, Skywatch and more. Some don't cover commercial pilots and others aren't international. But the rates went up from less than a thousand to nearly $3grand for full coverage.

Oh, and every time I requested a quote, they wanted serial numbers and replacement cost - never receipts.
