Questions about software!

hello! This time, by chance, I brought the Inspire 1 v2 through an acquaintance and also purchased the zenmuse x5 gimbal! I want to use x3 and x5 alternately. Do I need to update the pro software to use both? Or can I just use the X5 gimbal without software update?

Pro software?? Are you referring to the Go App? If so, the cameras interchange without having to change anything in the Go App.

you should update the software. As the x5 gimbal might function without a firmware update; I would like to suggest the most recent version in order to maximize performance and avoid any potential problems.

That is bad advice. Based on my hundreds of hours of drone experience both flying, repairing and hacking, I recommend the following:

Go App v3.1.1
Aircraft firmware v1.8.1.xx
X3 Camera firmware (same as aircraft)
X5 Camera v1.11.1.50
App database v00.00.01.04
Remote Control firmware v1.6

There is no better way to induce problems than to run the latest firmware and software. They all but disable the drone, cause crashes and limit flight to the point where you can't fly the Inspire professionally. I speak from great experience. The subjects of Inspire 1 software and firmware have been covered extensively many times in this forum.
