Hello.

For a specific application I needed to get video out with Zenmuse X5. I can't find anything about it. It doesn't need to be high quality video. Analog is enough for me. Can somebody help me?

Thanks

A little clearer explanation may help.

Where exactly do you need ''Video Out" - Airside or on the ground?

To be honest, i would need both of them. What I mean is that on the ground, for testing, I will need to have the video on my computer and airside, I need the video to go to the onboard computer

On the craft, the only video out is to the SD card.

On the ground, you can enable HDMI output on the remote, and feed that into your computer somehow. Note sure any laptops have an HDMI input, so you might need a desktop with a special card.

Why does the video need to be fed to the computer? Maybe there is another solution.

The programs I have with the algorithms need the images to be applied. The gimbal should turn to the object it is recognizing with the algorithms. That's why I need to feed the images...

So you need the camera to follow an object in the image? And you can't use the built-in algorithms (Spotlight Pro) that do a great job at this?

Again, please, more information.

This is project with more people. There were the ones who developed the face recognition algorithms, for example, and now I want to use this gimbal to test them. We are the ones responsible for controlling the gimbal and for that we need the images.

OK, I think I understand now.

The HDMI output on the remote is going to be your best bet. You have to enable it in the menu somewhere.

But I think you are going to experience some latency issues; it takes a non-zero amount of time from the drone to process the video and send down to the remote, and the HDMI output introduces more latency. So the image the computer is seeing is old by some number of milliseconds, and attempts to move the gimbal to keep it in frame might not work as well as Spotlight Pro does.

Okay, I get it. Don't you know about some possible hack that can be done? I mean, connecting some cable to gimbal and get the video, even if it was analog?

The video downlink is embedded within the data stream from the light bridge. It is a proprietary FHSS data packet and as such not '''hackable"
