Thanks for the info guys. Yes, it would seem to me that ATTI would be better if the GPS is "correcting" your motion, but is actually making it worse. In most case the problem I have are gusts that just push the drone in different directions. I guess I will experiment with both.

I could see the motors could cause problems on airplanes because the size is probably too big for what they normally allow in the cabin. However many would probably be fine with it. One idea is just to padd the motors much more. Maybe even sew a new case for the motors and protect them. I will...

I did carry it side ways and from a mechanical point this did not look great, which is why I asked here. I think I will practice and become fast with putting the gimbal on and off instead of having it attached all the time. Just bought the 9mm Lenowo lens btw, cant wait to try it out!
