    IOS Pilot app hold out.

Thanks for the input guys. And you are probably right about keeping up to date with the firmware and app. Sharky and I will carefully start the process. I'm confident I've read enough posts on this forum to follow the proper order.

    IOS Pilot app hold out.

Since nobody chimed in to comment on my problem with loosing my map view (out of the clear blue sky) Thought I would take a different approach. Are there any of you out there still using the last Pilot app (1.0.3) with the firmware 1.2.1.06. ? I have been a hold out in not up grading cause...

    Lost my Map screen ?

Out of the clear blue sky, I am unable to use the map screen. Screen stays black. I've tried standard, satellite, and hybred. Funny thing is, when I go to the user center and view the flight recorder, the map is there along with flight path. Thought it might be my I phone, so I rebooted. Still...

    Finally Painted it.

It took a while. I pressed masking tape down into the recessed area. Used a small flathead screwdriver to make sure the tape was fully adhered to the lit area. Then I used a very pointed thin xacto knife to trim the masking tape around the stars.

    Inspire customization thread

www.balls.bike. Sharky has a bigger smile these days. Actually the silicone light illuminates quite well. Flashes red or solid red. And I noticed that the UAV flys with more confidence. :)

    Neighbor's & gun's

It's bad all over. Sharky took a hit the other day in the battery. Dirty Rednecks. :)

    Finally Painted it.

Have had the orange painted 2 batteries I have in and out of the cockpit about 20 times now. No Mars or peeling paint noticed. However the paint job was an auto body professional job. They used this sticky paint for the first coat which is specially designed to promote adhesion to plastic and to...

    Finally Painted it.

You won't have any problems. I've done it 3 times now. It's one of those deals where you wish you had another hand to get the screw holes lined up while you are holding the GPS Antenna that has a short ribbon cord limiting your movements. Also ...... I wouldn't paint the inside. Save the weight...

    Finally Painted it.

There is a YouTube video out there if you a search that details the canopy removal. Helped me. Be sure not to unplug the GPS antena. Just remove the 4 screws from the unit but leave the connection alone. It is a bugger to plug back in if you unplug it.

    A Need for Speed?

Hi Guys. Sorry to be a dumb *** Yankee. But how do you compute /MS TO MPH. THANKS Dennis.

    A Need for Speed?

So not being a meteorologist or a Bonnerville Salt Lakes Speed racer I really don't know the best ideal conditions to get a good speed run. I just got 55 mph with legs down at 3 in the aft noon temp 107 degrees full sun and only a 4 mph tail wind. Elevation 750 ft. So what conditions are you...

    Finally Painted it.

I ordered a new body from Multicopter Warehouse. Taped off the battery button and green lights and battery bottom. Had the body shop spray the spare canopy. When it was painted, I just removed the white body and put the Orange one on. This way I can always return it to stock white if needed. Dennis

    Finally Painted it.

Was originally going to rattle can my Inspire With Plastic Dip Orange Blaze paint. Changed my mind do to the dusty area I live in. Decided a shiny smooth finish would be better. Had a friend at a auto paint shop with a little 69 Camaro Hugger Orange paint left from a completed job offer it to...
