    Two controllers with autoflight logic

I know how to set up two controllers for my Inspire 1 with DJI Go, but what if I want to do the same with Autoflight Logic? Is it possible? Or is possible just to have the second controller with an iPad showing the output of the camera?

    Autopilot revisited...

I thought so, I am wondering if Autopilot relies on the GPS chip which is only in the iPad cellular versions. Perhaps this is one of the reasons for the Waypoint crashes when you try to use the APP with a non cellular iPad?

    Autopilot revisited...

"So I flew my mission with my new iPad Air Pro, and it worked flawlessly. Please can you answer my question. Did you buy an iPad Pro with cellular or just wifi?

    Strange Gimbal behavior

Every so often when I turn on my Inspire Pro 1 v.2,00 with the X5 camera and Olympus 12mm lens, it does not do its alignment dance and just sits there quivering. If I flick it with my finger it goes into its dance and everything is okay. If I don't, I eventually get a warning about the gimbal...

    Autopilot revisited...

I have had similar experience with my Inspire 1 v.2 Pro and an iPad Air. It happened with a Waypoint mission. It seems to have been aggravated by the fact that I had the "Subject" in Joystick mode and I was moving the camera around with the right joystick trying to frame my shots while flying...

Sad experiences with Autopilot and Litchi

Have just been practicing Waypoint and Focus flying with my Inspire 1 Pro x5 camera. I have been using both Litchi and Hangar's Autopilot and comparing the results from the two. I specifically questioned Litchi on their FB page about whether the Inspire's camera could be controlled...

Pano on the I2 Using Autopilot

I have been doing the same thing, here in Vermont 360 Degree Vermont Aerial Panoramas - Vermont Aerial Imaging I am using the same software as you will recognize. I wonder if you have tried Autopilot with waypoints and panoramas? Does your iPad overheat and shutdown? What are you Pano settings...

Flying in Class C airspace under a shelf

I am a licensed pilot with an Inspire 1. I have been asked to fly in class C airspace, in an area clearly marked on the aeronautical chart as having a shelf starting at $1,500 feet on up.. The location is well away from "from the surface to ....." MSL. So under FAA regs, I can clearly fly in...

    Working for Hangar

sorry, don't have that link. But, look up Uplift Data...they are a reseller in Chicago. In any event, be careful about signing any contracts. The pay is very low and they own you. Make sure you get an agreement in writing about exactly what the mission is that they want you to fly and how much...

    Working for Hangar

Has anyone had the experience of working for Hangar? Have you signed their contractual agreement? Have you flown any missions for them? Not sure if this is the place to discuss this but I have some questions about industry practices and rates

Don't Let Law Enforcement Bully You - NYS Incident

When I studied for my part 107 and passed it, one of the test's questions is who you are required to show you FAA license to, The correct answer is local law enforcement. I assume this is correct, but would be interested in what FAA qualified drone pilots here have to say about this? I guess...
