**SOLD** Inspire 2 with X4s For Sale ($2,400)

Thank you to everyone who expressed interest and wanted this shipped to them. I did find a local buyer and the I2 is now in the hands of its new owner. I hope it is enjoyed and used productively for many years to come.

    Inspire 2 remote control

I completely agree with what @jkerrins said above. For what you are looking to do, I would highly recommend the P4P instead. That is exactly why I just put my I2 up for sale. With my other drones (lighter and smaller) I just never have the need for the I2. Just because you have the funds for...

**SOLD** Inspire 2 with X4s For Sale ($2,400)

Honestly it was a bit expensive for a 3-D printed mount but it does the job quite well, and I prefer it over velcro or zip ties. It was $20 plus $4 for shipping. I would recommend it. Fits perfectly. I got it through one of the vendors here in the forums. It is from Aerial Pixel.

**SOLD** Inspire 2 with X4s For Sale ($2,400)

Thank you @The Editor for the response. That's all it takes and then everything is fine. It's annoying though that on such an expensive craft, something like this would be an issue which DJI won't admit to or repair for free (after warranty period).

**SOLD** Inspire 2 with X4s For Sale ($2,400)

You can see it in pictures 6 and 9. It is mounted on the right arm (the one holding both motors. Just forward of the mid-point.

**SOLD** Inspire 2 with X4s For Sale ($2,400)

Well that depends on your thoughts on coming to have a look at it. ;) Airfare these days is cheap I guess. I really prefer not to ship and dealing with damage in transit, or payment issues. I know it may be a bit tougher to find someone local on a high-end drone but I will open it up to long...

    DJI repair - scam??

That does seem a bit excessive. I'm confused though. if you bought it new in Dec 2019 then isn't it still under the 1 year factory warranty? If so then why are they charging you anything at all? This was not due to a crash, correct? If it is still under warranty and there was no crash then...

Thank you. Hoping someone turns up locally that wants it.

**SOLD** Inspire 2 with X4s For Sale ($2,400)

Inspire 2 in Like New condition. Looks brand new. Flies perfectly. Takes great pictures and video. Only issue is a common well-known problem where the camera will at times lose communication with the drone. The fix is to manually give the camera mount a slight twist. I have priced this into...

USA Commercial drone flights - NYC - Trump Tower radius

This is very true, however that only extends to public property owned by NYC. They cannot prohibit you from taking off/landing from your own private property or the private property of someone else whose permission you have obtained. The NYC issue is not even an official law, likely because...

USA Commercial drone flights - NYC - Trump Tower radius

Don't do it! You definitely don't want to fool around anywhere near presidential zones. The Secret Service is very serious! Beyond that, New York City has its own rules (not actually legal to have such rules per FAA) that prohibit all drone flights within the city limits. I personally have...

USA Flying in Orlando area (private property and unlocked class B) in a few weeks.

I would be very careful being the supervising RPIC in cases like this. The regulations say that the certificated RPIC must be able to immediately take control of the craft. Since this flight is with an I2, this would be quite doable with dual controllers. Short of that, it would be a bit more...

Maximum altitude below cell tower height

It depends. You can apply for authorization at a higher than max grid altitude but there is no guarantee that it will be authorized. If you make a solid case in the comments and don't ask for too much, you may get it.

Maximum altitude below cell tower height

This is NOT true for authorization in controlled airspace, which is what the OP is trying to accomplish. If authorization is obtained for 100 feet AGL, that is absolute. The drone can at no time exceed 400 feet above the ground directly vertically below it.

Maximum altitude below cell tower height

Some more details would be helpful. Are you doing this survey as an automated mapping mission, or are you flying manually? If flying manually then you have no issues. If automated then I would be very careful since judging depth on the device screen is a bit difficult., and you may not have...
