What you can do if you want the extra digital zoom is do it in your editing software, I use FXPX and it works fine, and if you use what is called the Ken Burns effect you can animate your digital zoom and Pan works very well.

The only difference between cellular and wifi is with cellular you will have maps where you are and with wifi only all you do is while you have wifi you just load the area where you are going to fly on maps then it is in your cache, hope this helps.

If money is not an issue get the wifi /cellular more convenient however the only difference with the mini 4 is before you go to your location to shoot you have to load the area on maps via wifi so it is in your cache.

3 actually I have the iPad Pro 9.7”, they just don’t make them anymore so if you want one you would have to source a second hand one.

I have used the iPad mini 4 with my Mavic Pro from day one (I brought it when they first came out in Australia) and it works seamlessly I also have the iPad Pro 9.7” for my Inspire 1pro and Inspire 2 and it works perfectly with them, if you buy the 9.7 you will need a some sort of adaptor for it...

Yes not many people are aware that the X5 and the X5S have 4X digital zoom but only when you are shooting in 1080, if you are in 4K there is no zoom, how you do it is while you are in 1080 place your index finger and your thumb together on the screen then slide them open to zoom in and pinch...

The X5 is digital and the Z3 is 3.5X optical with a digital double to 7X

This was shot with my Insipre 1Pro X5 Aperture=1.7 Shutter=1/4 ISO=100, I have been meaning to shoot the same shot with my Inspirer 2 and have yet to do it.

The inspire 2 doesn't have rear Obstacle Avoidance, only forward and upper??? or do you mean the forward OA made it back into a tree??

Just a thought, can you have a look at your last log and see where the home point was?, Maybe it was trying to return home to previous home point??, As I say just a thought.

Hey there, just in case you are unaware if you have chapter markers in your FCPX project if you go to FILE then SHARE then SETTINGS and then pick either one of the apple settings or master file there is a check box you can check to include chapters. Hope this is of some help.

To give you and idea, I have an Inspire 2 with the X5S camera and when that records raw DNG you only get about 15 mins of raw on the 480gig SSD so that equates to about 2 terrabytes of storage per hour of Raw video.

The best way to sell is show your work if you don't have anything yet do a few shoots of anything you have access to and make a show reel if your work is good and you show it to a potential client your work will sell its self.
