Pardon my ignorance - does RAW have more bits per pixel?

To give you and idea, I have an Inspire 2 with the X5S camera and when that records raw DNG you only get about 15 mins of raw on the 480gig SSD so that equates to about 2 terrabytes of storage per hour of Raw video.

Thanks to everyone for the education on file size. Fortunately for me, my work doesn't require RAW and H264 works well for everything I've done so far. While I don't really care for post production work very much, my business has pushed me more in that direction. I get where having all of the data is a good thing but, at the same time, thankful that I've not had jobs that need that kind of resolution/manipulation power. Mass storage is already a challenge...
