I do agree with that and we do at most locations. We just have one location we fly that is a very large area and we cannot fly any higher so had to sacrifice the overlap to limit the number of pictures.

Hello, I was curious if anyone knows of a fish-eye lens for the X3 camera. I have a job that I need about 140° FOV and I did not know if that is possible with the X3. I would like to do this without modifying the camera but have been unable to find a way. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

No I have a client that needs a flat image to retain scale not a 360° panoramic. It will be a large area that I need a overhead photo. So the images would need to be taken from different locations and would be stitched together. I only know how to stitch a photo from one focal point not multiple.
