Anyone test their fleximic yet?

Still waiting for mine to show up. Any of you guys got it and give it a go? Just wondering will it solve the problem or really have to spare the cash for the rode mic?

Big improvement in audio quality! However, you still hear the fan. Apparently the next firmware will turn off the fan when you're recording but the gimbal motors can still be heard albeit at low level. If you want clean audio, you're probably better off getting an external mic and mount it away from the gimbal.

Turning off the fan.....um....the unit already got pretty warm under normal use. Wondering would that cause any issue for prolonged usage.
