Anyone using the I1 with X3 for mapping?

a little more specific would be a start - mapping is a massive area - what are you trying to achieve, do you need cm accuracy, what area are you trying to map, do you need volume measurements, etc, etc, etc. Whats your budget, what post processing software are you wanting or do you have ?

I use an Inspire 1 for ag mapping. I have the X3 NIR, X3, and an X5. The X5 is noticeably better but I still use the X3 when the customer doesn't need to count individual plants or leaves. I use DroneDeploy and love it. I am probably in the area of 50 Ag maps with it so far.

It depends on the field. Anywhere from 225ft to 400ft and then I usually run between 70-85% overlap depending on the altitude. I can tell you that batteries will always be an issue with the Inspire 1. It is my worst limitation. You just have to get out and map fields over and over changing settings as you go until you discover the right solution for you and your customer.
