Ford v Chevy; John Deere v IH; rivalries continue, (let's not mention politics), but seriously -given the updates to FINAL CUT PRO and ADOBE PREMIERE PRO which one for the Mac environment? I've test tried them, but I find FCP is a little easier to use and seems to scrub through more cleanly than adobe PP. That said, an Apple Store dude gently suggested PP over FCP ( he thought latest version dumbed it down too much). I'm kinda new at this. What are your thoughts?

I personally have a long background in the Adobe Suite and much prefer the environment of PP over FCP. I'm far from a master in PP and I would probably classify myself as a novice but given my many years of experience in the environment of the Adobe Suite I find things quite easy to use for everything I need it for. Haven't used FCP in about 2+ years so I'm not sure how it's really changed since my last stint with the program.
