Bug in latest Go APP - Official

For those of you like me who have been having trouble signing into your DJI account (I have been trying for over a week since updating the Go app, posting on various forums etc) I have received a comment back from DJI Technical support as follows it but I can't really see them releasing a fix until the next update. They suggest signing in using a different email address… but surely you will loose all your records, flight logs etc.
