Can someone please look at the brake t and tell me if there's supposed to be a screw in here right behind the locking mech?

The answer to that is no. When I broke my bracket I thought I'd lost that screw too, but there isn't anything to go in there.

Perhaps this threaded hole will be used for an upgrade?

What about the allen head screw on the locking ring. Do you tighten that down after locking the gimbal on to prevent it from backing out?
