I remove the props just because of limited space in my C1500 pickum up truck cab. Due to the battery fire issue onboard an aircraft about two weeks ago, I'm inclined to remove the battery from the cradle when tranporting in the case. Not sure why that battery burned, but if the batteries are like our laptop batteries, then there could be a thermal runaway issue. Any thoughts on that?????
