How to Capture Day and Night in One Photo

Anybody with experience using this style of photography?

you take multiple individual photos of the same scene during the day and night, then blend them into a single image which transitions from day into night (or vice-versa) across the image. Plenty of examples in the article above.

Now to capture day and night photos with the drone in the exact same spot might be the headache.
