Crazy Woman Daybreak

I set the alarm clock for 4:30 this morning so I could get out and fly the Inspire One at daybreak. I went to Crazy Woman Canyon and followed Crazy Woman Creek from the mountain front all the way up to the high alpine glacial scab lakes to the headwaters of the Crazy Woman. There are a couple of ground shots, that came from my Galaxy S6 Edge Phone.

I am downloading some more video from this morning from another 4AM wakeup to fly at the break of day, this time the video starts from a mountain top above tree line.

Well done Chuggie! In the first part seems that you fly more or less a bit around, behind the rock, don't you have troubles with weak or no signal issues? Or is it still all VLOS.

I had a good line of sight, with the Inspire out about 1500-2000 meters.

Very cool! I could see where an x5 camera would be useful in this situation. The increased dynamic range would be perfect for that lighting. Doesn't it give you the creeps flying that far away, with that terrain? It would be quite a hike if say, it went into an emergency landing.
