That's an interesting conundrum. I haven't fired up my Inspire 1 for a few months. I wonder if I would get the same message?Hi, I got my old Inspire 1 up an flying nad logged into my go app!!
The first screen that appears is about the device not being activated.
Should I agree or disagree. View attachment 35021

Mr. Frank,That's an interesting conundrum. I haven't fired up my Inspire 1 for a few months. I wonder if I would get the same message?
Knowing DJI, I'm going to guess that not activating it won't allow it to fly. I will also predict that clicking the activation button will lead you to a "Page not found" or "server not found" error message. Ergo, activation will have to hacked. I will further predict that reaching out to DJI in any way, shape or form will lead to a "item no longer supported" error message.

You mean the naysaying? Hehe....Mr. Frank,
Thank you so much for the insight.
Sweet. Good to know.I checked not to activate incase it "bricked" my drone. And thankfully the old bird FLIES!!! Takes video and picture!!
As far as I know, the RC (Remote Control) firmware is done within the RC itself. That is the only way I have done it.I still don't have any video transmission.?? and she flies way better on learner mode.
I have read your recommendations on firmware. If you could lead the blind old man, where do I find the RC firmware v1.6?? Cloud it be the problem of not video or signal?
As you eluded to, your remote is the wrong version. I'm actually surprised that it works at all. Watch the above video for details on how to roll back to v1.6.Aircraft is 1.8.1.00
Camera 1.8.1.00
Remote 1.7.60
I use v3.1.1.I have two versions on iphones. The same results
GOApp 3.1.68
GOApp 3.1.1
