I have purchased a second hand inspire, which still retains the original owners name on the APP, when I look at flight logs. Is there any way of changing this?

Yes i have an account for my other UAV' s but this one has the name of the previous owner and I can't fathom how to change it.

I guess what I was asking is: so you've signed into the DJI App ("Me" Icon) and the other previous owners info still appears? I have no idea what to tell you about that.
I'm signed in. But the newly acquired UAV shows the name of previous user. Or maybe I should say the name he gave to his UAV which also happens to be his name, if that helps.

You need to contact DJI Support to change the registration of the Inspire 1 to your name. Once it is registered you cannot change the registered aircraft name or owner yourself. You will probably be asked to provide proof of purchase.
Once the name of the new quadcopter is entered in the DJI GO app for the very first time, it cannot be changed, ever. That is why I called mine "Inspire Pro X5". Not to disappoint the next owner... ;-)
