dng to raw convertor?

Can anyone suggest a convertor for dng files to raw. I have a mac and I am using Aperture to edit pics. No i don't have Photoshop.

Hi. Forgive me because I'm not an Aperture user but DNG is just Adobe's version of RAW and I understood Aperture could handle DNG files - see https://support.apple.com/en-gb/HT201775

For some reason it doesn't like Inspire dng files and won't accept them?

I ditched Apeture last night and moved to Lightroom. Loving it so far! Not a solution but an option. I did have to purchase the 9.99 a month plan that includes Photoshop = the downside.

Just check to see if the dng reader (plug in) in aperture is up to date I had the same problem in Photoshop cs4 just had to update the camera raw plug in and it worked fine

Aperture likely needs an update to the latest DNG spec - but I doubt that will come since Apple has officially ditched it now.

Did it!!! Adobe DNG convertor, select Linear. Thank you all

DNG can be opened in Photos which is part of the latest OS up date. The new Photos replaces Aperture
