Is it true I am responsible for stitching OSMO pano images?

I believe the stitched photo that DJI GO app generates and stored on the cell phone is a quick low resolution image meant to be used for sharing on DJI site, Facebook, and other social media sites. If I want the best quality and highest resolution, I need to stitch the images myself, right?

I know how to stitch photos in Lightroom and Photoshop etc., but before I do that, I want to make sure I understand the workflow before I make work for myself. I was very surprised the stitched photo is not on the SD card. Anyone know why the stitched photo isn't on the SD card?

Thanks in advance,

Because the pano mode, time-lapse and other enhanced features are functions of the Go app, not the camera/handle, the data that the app produces remains on the phone only. That handle and gimbal have enough to think about without panning, stitching and image sequencing.
