Advancing the theory that knowledge is power...which apps do you use for planning missions? Here's my short list:

Google Maps - all purpose go-to. (free)
UAV Forecast - good for getting current conditions and planning a week in advance. (subscription)
AirMap - View controlled airspace & UAV restrictions (free)
iFlightPlanner.com - live digital sectional maps (free - owned by Google)
onX Hunt - find out who owns the land where you want to take off and fly over (subscription)
FAA Graphic TFRs - real time check on TFRs
Federal Aviation Administration - Graphic TFR's

What do you use?

I use Wifi Overview 360 Pro on my android cell phone as a spectrum monitor to check for clear channels. Also can be sideloaded on the CrystalSky. (Android Only)

PhotoPils for augmented reality to predict sun/moon angles (Android and iOS) Similar apps TPE

FlightAware - ADS monitor for commercial / private air traffic. Good in controlled space where you have waivers to fly. Not that you will be that high, but more to answer the people that come up and ask if you are interfering with the jets landing at xxx. I had a police officer ask that once. Showed him I was flying at 200 feet with authorization and the jets were at 1500. His response, was cool, mind if I watch for a while.
