I was looking for a friend who wants to buy a drone and would like to practice first on a simulator , the only ones I can see are videos of thumbs on the sticks which IMHO useless for teaching.

I once found a video that was attached to a article the showed very clearly via animated diagrams what drone flight actions the control sick movements controlled but I cannot find it at all again for him.

In particular it showed how to move the sticks for both circles and nose in circles .

any links anyone can supply will be appreciated

There are some simulators out there that are very good that do use a DJI remote controller or a third party remote controllers. Check out Professional R/C Helicopter Simulation

Thank you does the simulator you suggest work with the inspire controller? They don’t say so ? If not is there a simulator apart from the DJI one that does use the inspire controller?

I found more information on their forums page, regarding what controllers can be used.

thank you I will post the question there and see what answers they come up with. I am surprised given the popularity of DJI that there is not a instant solution offered to use the existing control rather than have to buy another one that the software works with, especially since there is a coach mode selectable.
