Yeah, I watched that and passed it along to a couple folks. I think based on the fact that it seems far more accurate even allowing greater access to airports by taking into consideration where the runways are, etc I went from more of that “big brother” feeling to feeling like it could be a worthwhile update. So much so I finally hit the “update” button on the NFZ database option. I’ll let you know if it bites me in the **s.

PS. I enjoyed your “CAVU” reference. I have to confess that I had never heard of that until I saw one of the speakers at the Bush funeral use it and I loved it.

That whole "dynamic NFZ" thing is almost the entire reason I use legacy software and hardware in all my birds. I was bit in the *** ONCE on a job site with DJI's "login or don't fly" window - miles from WiFi or cell service. Disable MY bird on a job site? Hell no. Fool me once, shame on you... I shan't be fooled again.
