Hello all!
Greetings from Shakespeare's countryside, Warwickshire - UK I've been reading this forum for a while now and having recently purchased an Inspire 2 (currently with X4S camera) I thought it high time to introduce myself.
My name is Dan and I'm a Dutchman living in the UK since 2001 (I blame my British wife for this ... ;-) ) I'm a company director and this Inspire is my first ever drone. I absolutely LOVE it!
Up until the middle of last year I used to run a UAV business which specialised in developing Safety Management Systems for large commercial drones (the 10kg + systems typically used for SAR missions). This business was bought by a much larger company who then burried our development work - a real shame but apparently "that's business".
I am thoroughly enjoying flying my Inspire 2 around the countryside and my aim is to get to grips with some basic cinematography. I'm currently not interested in training to be a pro (which would take me years) but just enjoying flying it and learning how to make some half decent movies along the way. I hope to learn from the vast amount of expertise on this forum so thank you in advance for all your advice.
Cheerio!
Dan
