Watchdog are doing abit on drones tonight, be prepared for more anti droners!

Yes

Saw it. As predicted -que interview with 1x "nugget".

"I thought you could go fly it anywhere as long as you are sensible(!)"

I hereby recommend that DJI make the stock case slightly bigger so "nuggets" can pack their brain when they fly "anywhere-being sensible" Dims for brain compartment are approx size of half a match box.

I hate B/S however I am coming round to thinking certification and or training is a must everytime I walk down the high street and look around at potential "pilots"

I saw it and when the article came on my wife pointed and said "That's one of yours"
I said "Yes dear - now go and watch Coronation Street"

It was the usual scaremongering of the few who want to spoil it for the many again.
Does not really affect me since my UAV's are effectively registered already since their serial numbers are lodged with both the CAA and my Insurance company.
I do think compulsory registration is a good thing though.

I also like that they only had 1 email of another crashed drone. Big deal! Wonder how many emails they would get if you have been in a near miss when driving or been hit by someone who didn't see you! There server would crash! What ever sport or hobby you do there will always be 1 prat.
