What type remote with HDMI "upgrade" are you offering here? All Inspire GL658 Remotes since day one have HDMI out as a standard feature.
Did you purchase directly from DJI? If so, I would contact DJI and get at least my $99 back. If you purchased from a reseller I would still contacting DJI as your re-seller is defrauding their customers by removing standard equipment from the DJI Inspire they sell.Mine oddly didn't come with it so just bought the $99 board from DJI and added it.

Whoever sold you that set up either purposely swapped the remote in an effort to deceive you and/ot other buyers or it was a genuine mistake at the factory in China (Unlikely since the production lines are physically different!)
