Mine oddly didn't come with it so just bought the $99 board from DJI and added it.

Did you purchase directly from DJI? If so, I would contact DJI and get at least my $99 back. If you purchased from a reseller I would still contacting DJI as your re-seller is defrauding their customers by removing standard equipment from the DJI Inspire they sell.

ALL Inspire remotes since release to the public have had HDMI output at 720p.
Whoever sold you that set up either purposely swapped the remote in an effort to deceive you and/or other buyers or it was a genuine mistake at the factory in China (Unlikely since the production lines are physically different!)

Yea that's a new one, I suspect some one "borrowed" it for a P3 or P4, dodgy retailer from the sounds of it.
