Inspire 1 v2 motor upgrades?

Hi All,

I have an Inspire 1 v2 and have recently gotten into more traditional quads.

You know, building/replacing flight controllers, ESCs and motors...the fun soldering stuff.

I'm kind of curious, has anyone tried to mount other motors on the Inspire and if so, what types and what were the results?

Just thinking about after market upgrades and what is possible on this bird?

The only upgrades I've seen are putting v2 motors on a v1

Thanks for the info! I was wondering more about after market standard motors and if it were even possible?

Not that it is what I'm thinking about doing...not yet anyways.

Just eyeballing the motors from that article the DJI mount differently and have holes that are 90 degrees vertical compared to most FPV & drone motors which have them on the bottom.
