Is the x3 and x5 interchangeable on a X3 gimbal mount?

I am looking to buy a used X5 but I want to try it first. I have an Inspire 1v2 with an X3. I see the X5 has a different vibration plate but is the actual mount for the gimbal the same? So I can see if it powers up and transmits video?

the X3 and X5 share the same actual gimbal connection lock mount. so yes you can test the X5 on the older X3 vibration board but you will need to support the rear of the X5 as the X3 board is missing the tab to properly mount the X5 camera
