Hi everyone,

We use the Inspire 2 for live broadcast and have recently noticed that since updating the Cendence to the latest version the broadcast output video feed appears to be more highly compressed with more blocking artefacts. We only updated a week ago, has anyone else noticed the higher compression/ poorer broadcast quality output? We are going to forego the broadcast mode and try outputting 1080i50 and see if the OB van receives a better signal.

You are not the first, and you wont be the last to fall for DJI's fluffy, sugar coated, all singing, all dancing, pooping rainbow's PR bullshite.
DJI's interpretation of 'Broadcast' and yours and mine are very different.
When DJI say 'broadcast' they mean 'web streaming' and that's all their codecs are good for.
I have worked in television OB for 20 years. I have tested all their products as they came to market, from the early Phantoms, the Inspires, Cendence ect.
I can say that none of DJI's products come close to being 'broadcast' usable.
They use line skipping techniques in their codecs, which is a really half arsed way to compress an image, and give you the artifacts you are seeing.
Trust me there is NOTHING you can do remedy this, I and many others smarter than me have tried.

Spot on.
I'm afraid DJI are totally clueless when it comes to broadcast requirements/protocols.
Even their consumer terminations such as HDMI is poorly implemented and has always and still does suffer handshake issues with connected equipment.

I don't know if they are just giving jobs to Representatives off the streets. The don't know what they are doing I ask a simple question about a lens filter . I just wanted to know if I would work with m new 45 mm lens this went on for about 10minutes and he finally asked me what kind of lens do I need. I just disconnected. I was at work and I just asked a simple question an it made me late for me other jobs it seems like it's getting worse and they are a MULTI billion dollar company. Please dji we need answers. These drones are not toys I'm flying my best drone the inspite 2 it's a very serious drone and you could kill someone with this drone. Even my 2nd mavic pro that is not a toy you could slice someone's throat with these drones. Please get someone that knows what they are talking about. It's a very serious hobby.

Were you able to figure this out? I am having the same issue. The TV guys are saying the I2 downlink bitrate is 10mbs and they need 20 mbs...this is Greek to me...
