Main Controller Data Error

Finally on the phone with support. First question... did you crash. lol

"did you try restore factory settings"

me "yes"

"ok we are going to need you to go online and request a repair"

are you shitting me? That's the extent of troubleshooting? Did you click the only other button on the firmware page? Good lord...

Sending it in.

Thats not good. I hope I don't have to follow suit. Its been 5 week since I saw my camera (still waiting for a replacement), if I have to send the airframe in I'll be waiting until xmas!

Just wait... a firmware update fixes it.

DJI is idiotic and everything is an IMU calibration, or send it in... just wait a few days.

The inspire 2 has been shipped to California so DJI can work their magic. This is a huge pain in my ***. Watch the firmware that fixes this come out tomorrow...

Well... ground UPS from my location is 6 days. So 6 days there, 6 days back, 3 days on the bench, 3 weekends... I bet it will be around the 29th before I get it back. 23rd at the earliest. I will report back.

Ha. This thing better be under warranty. I won't be paying for ****.

No, just regular warranty work. This is DJIs fault so I assume it will be free. haha

Have you tried flashing backwards? Here are my versions:

App 3.1.5
Aircraft 1.8.1.00
Remote 1.6.0
Camera 1.8.1.00

My bird has been, and continues to be, rock solid.

I had tried version 1.9.xx, which simply expanded NFZ's, so I went back to 1.8.1.00. Stepping back might be tedious, because I believe you have to go from 1.10 to 1.9 to 1.8. You can't go directly back to 1.8.

This, of course, assumes you save .bin files like I do....<;^)

Lemme know if this works.
